Exchange Conference
Exchanges: Are You
Ready?
Health
plans across the country continue to focus on Health Insurance Exchanges and
the opportunities they offer to provide better access and higher quality health
care for millions of Americans. Among
the many challenges health plans and those developing Exchanges face is that
there are multiple models being implemented and significant state-to-state
variation.
As
we await additional Federal Guidance on Exchanges and the November General
Elections, attending AHIP’s Exchange Conference, December 5-6 in Chicago, will
be more important than ever. The mix of
sessions will cover immediate steps required, and mid- to long-term decisions
necessary to successfully participate in Exchanges.
Whether
your organization is just starting the discussions about Exchanges, or are deep
into planning, you’ll leave this program feeling like you are better prepared.
You’ll be filled with smart ideas, lessons learned, and considerations that may
not be on your organization’s radar.
For
those who have attended other conferences in our “Preparing for Exchanges”
educational series, you’ll want to join us again. As more and more work is done
on Exchanges, the lessons learned keep growing, and technology solutions keep
emerging, the agendas for these programs evolve and the latest information will
be shared in the December program.
If
you haven’t attended one of our Exchange programs in the past, you’ll be glad
you took the time to attend this program. Each conference has closed with
participants sharing how valuable it was, and looking forward to the next
program.
